Jiten Singh (Om Puri) and Avtar Singh (Sharat Saxena) have been figting for several years...they enter a wrestling match every year, and the winner gets the trusteeship of the village temple. Too old to fight now, they have retired.
Avtar Singh's daughter, Ladli (Nargis) is a huge Salman Khan fan. So, the new postmaster, Chander (Rajpal Yadav), who has fallen for Ladli, makes her believe that he is Salman's best buddy. But of course he is not. Then how does he win her affection? And how does he get involved in a wrestling match, that too with a 7.5 feet wrestler?
